Greg Gaines is your typical high school senior except for the fact that he's very analytical about everything. He has one friend, but as he says, they're "more like coworkers." He and Earl make videos together. Greg finds out that Rachel, an old friend from Hebrew school, is dying from cancer, and he tries to be her friend again.
This comedic coming of age tale is recommended to fans of The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
