You're reading now...

Seeing Red by Kathryn Erskine

After Red's father dies, Red is forced to try and stop his mother from selling their repair shop. He gets into a lot of trouble but eventually finds a surprising secret about his father; one that teaches him much about racism.

This historical fiction book is recommended to patient readers, because it took a little bit of time to get into.
