The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman
Elizabeth just got a job as a Page at the New York Circulating Material Respiratory, a library that lets patrons borrow historical objects (both normal and magical). She is most intrigued by the Grimm Collection, a high security section filled with magical objects from the famous fairy tales. When the objects start to disappear and Elizabeth becomes the number one suspect, she takes matters into her own hands to find the real thief.
This magical mystery is great for all fairy tale lovers and will you have wishing that the New York Circulating Material Respiratory was a real place!

After Emily dumps her boyfriend and decides to get an abortion, he brings a gun to school and shoots himself in front of her. To escape the bad memories and attention of her classmates, Emily is sent to an all-girl boarding school where she struggles with grief and guilt, expressing her emotions through poetry and getting a little help from the spirit of Emily Dickinson.
This book has a ton of poems in it and is great for anyone who enjoys poetry or a touch of the supernatural.

Beck enlists in the army with his three friends during the Vietnam War. After witnessing seven deaths and narrowly avoiding capture, he is sent home briefly to reunite with his family. Upon returning to Vietnam, Beck is sent to work as a mechanic for the Air Force. Things go well until the reality of war once again catches up with him.
This book is recommended to those interested in the Vietnam War.
