He and Earl make videos together. Greg finds out that Rachel, an old friend from Hebrew school, is dying from cancer, and he tries to be her friend again.

Casualties of War by Chris Lynch

Beck enlists in the army with his three friends during the Vietnam War. After witnessing seven deaths and narrowly avoiding capture, he is sent home briefly to reunite with his family. Upon returning to Vietnam, Beck is sent to work as a mechanic for the Air Force. Things go well until the reality of war once again catches up with him.

This book is recommended to those interested in the Vietnam War.
