Insignia is about a boy named Tom, a poor street hustler who gambles with video games to earn a living. Everyday is the same: earn money, bring it home, have dad drink or gamble it away. Then he finds out that the government has been watching him and Tom is recruited into a new generation of "virtual warriors."
This book is recommended to science fiction fans who are interested in an old concept with a new twist. Elements of romance and humor are also included.
