We're reading now...

This Star Won't Go Out by Esther Earl

Esther Grace Earl lived her life to the fullest and shined brightly even during the darkest hours. Although Author John Green will tell you that The Fault in Our Stars was not quite inspired by Esther, much of his character development was affected by her. It is Mr. Green's life that will forever remain impacted by his meetings and conversations with Esther. In our opinion, you just may find yourself in the very same predicament after reading this one. Grab the tissues!

We're reading now...

The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson

Hayley is used to moving around. In fact, this is the first year that she will be in school following her less than ordinary "homeschool" education. To Hayley, this means it will be much more difficult to hide the reality of her Veteran father's mood swings from the outside world. Despite her best efforts to keep a low profile, Hayley catches the attention of the very endearing (and handsome) Finn.

Post-traumatic stress disorder is a relevant and heartbreaking reality for many families whose loved ones have come home from war changed. This title sheds light on the power of trust and forgiveness for all those affected.
